Is the ball joints part of the drivetrain in a front wheel drive?
My left front ball joint went out on one of the busiest intersections in this dam town.... I have a warranty on my drivetrain so I'm hoping they are part of it.
Ball joints are suspension parts. But you've nothing loose by claiming them as drive line. When I was working I saw service contracts that looked at them both ways.
