i want to increase the water pressure to my shower off a combi system with poor mains pressure?
i have a mains water system with a combi boiler fitted, the mains pressure is poor so i wish to increase the pressure for a new 3 bar shower pod, can i put a 50 gallon water storage tank in with a pump off it feeding both the combi and the cold for the shower, i am aware it will mean the entire hot water system is pumped, but i can see no other way to do it, can anyone tell m if this would be the correct way to do it
NO YOU CANT AND IGNORE THE CHANGE THE PIPE SIZE COMMENT THE PRESSURE IS THE SAME NO MATTER WHAT SIZE THE PIPE IS. U CANT FEED THE HOT FROM A SEPERATE TANK AS THIS WILL NOT BE A SEALED SYSTEM ANYMORE I AM A PLUMBER AND I SUGGEST YOU USE ONE THE MAINS PRESSURE WILL JUST MIGRATE INTO THE TANK U USE AND OVERFLOW
