What's the deal with Baby Einstein bath books made out of PVC? Is it safe to give them to babies?
My 8-month old loves his Baby Einstein bath book, but now I don't know if it's safe for him....
Of most concern are teethers made of PVC as they are meant to be mouthed. As long as your child doesn't keep the book in his mouth, it should be ok. A chemical in PVC has been found to cause certain cancers.
